Facebook still has an ancient and hidden interface called "mbasic". It was meant for old phones with a basic browser.
It's very old and now it's half broken, but you can still access it from https://mbasic.facebook.com/
Now they announced they're going to retire it on December 3rd. A piece of another internet era is going away.
