Two months ago, realizing my intelligence might soon become a commodity threw me into a quiet existential crisis.
If intelligence doesn’t differentiate me from AI, what does?
We die, AI doesn’t. Our attention is sequential, AI’s is parallel.
Curious to test this theory, I spent 10 days at a Vipassana retreat to reset my dopamine and intentionally train my attention.
What started as philosophical became vividly physical. Some tangible results from these past two months:
- Lost most of my torso fat (–0.5kg/week), without dietary changes
- Improved VO₂ max from 53 to 58
- Released chronic muscle tension (neck, back, hips)
- Need one hour less sleep, same energy
- Zero procrastination—flow state on demand
It’s like switching from black-and-white to full-color vision.
