I made a short collection of /whois output from an old IRC client (XiRCON + kano.tcl), showcasing the creative ASCII art and custom formatting that made IRC client customization an art form.

That's a cool project, OP.

I'd like to share other historic projects which I had a hard time searching for and they seem to be gone from most search engines (at the time I searched for them anyway):

Those are software repositories for a lot of IRC related projects from clients to servers and bots, etc.
