Just for fun: animating a mosaic of 90s GIFs

This went into quite a bit more detail than just how the mosaic was animated. That was a nice surprise, a thoughtful summary of several things that went into the project.

Huge nostalgia wave seeing some of these. Many of them are hard for me to pinpoint but unmistakably familiar.

My first website was a geocities site back in ~1999, which was dedicated to StarCraft. I wish I could find it now; I remember it being really aesthetically pleasing - it would be funny to see how it held up.

Should probably note they allude to the public decency act, there is no such thing for now and hopefully for a while. I think this was meant metaphorically.

Related to this post, does anyone know why this post says "3 hours ago" but upon hovering on the timestamp, it has an older date? The title attribute is set to:
